Tucker Civic Center

FSU basketball tips off its season this week as both the men and women host a pair of games at the Tucker Center. FSU women's basketball hosts FAMU Monday and Georgia Southern Thursday, both at 6 pm. The Seminole men's basketball team welcomes Alcorn State Tuesday and Alabama State Friday, both games at 7 pm. Free for students with your FSUCard.

FSU celebrates first generation students this week with special programs starting on Wednesday, November 5. The Legacy Conference leads off the week on Wednesday afternoon in the Thagard Building, then a First Gen Shark Tank Competition on Thursday at iHub. First-Gen events continue through November 12.

Throughout Campus

Look for students throughout campus raising awareness about FSU's annual Dance Marathon philanthropy event that raises money for Children's Miracle Network and the FSU College of Medicine's Pediatric Outreach Program. Make a donation, large or small, to help DM reach its Florida Statement goal for this fall.

Club Downunder

Jack Kelly is a nationally recognized magician who has been featured on TV nationwide. In 2025, Jack appeared on the hit primetime show Penn and Teller: Fool Us, where he fooled the legendary magic duo, Penn and Teller, becoming one of the youngest in series history to achieve this feat. With over a decade of performing, Jack tours the U.S. with his interactive and energetic shows. Free for students, doors open at 7, show at 8.
