Check out these tips and reminders to help you feel confident, prepared and ready for the first week of school.

Books and Materials
Check your schedule on my.fsu.edu and look for the “Buy Textbooks for Class” link. You can also explore FSU Libraries’ Course Reserves Collection to see if your books are available there.
Make Note of Academic Advising Hours for Next Week
Some academic advisors are members of Advising First, and others may be department advisors or staff or faculty of the college or department of your major.
Most advisors use the Campus Connect platform to schedule advising appointments and store notes.
A list of advisors and their availability can be found using Advisor Search.
Learn Your Study Spots
Take a walk on campus and explore Strozier and Dirac Library, 1851 Food Hall and the Student Union as possible places to study this year. Explore and book spaces using FSU Libraries’ study spaces list.
Log in and Check Your Canvas and myFSU
Check myFSU for your class schedule: it is possible that your Canvas may not go live until your first day of class!
